Manipur: 3 suspected cases, 55 foreigners among those quarantined

Imphal:
Three suspected cases were put under isolation after they showed symptoms for coronavirus aka COVID-19 in Manipur, as per reports.
However, there were no further reports on the suspected cases till the time of filing this report.
Earlier, following the reports of a 23-year-old girl from Imphal West testing positive for COVID-19, Manipur became the first state from Northeast India with a confirmed case. It was followed by Mizoram with another positive case, taking the count to two in the region so far.
Meanwhile, on Monday, 10 samples were tested for COVID-19, summing up to 76 till date in Manipur.
As on March 30, the state government has screened as many as 1,85,270 incoming passengers both by road and airways from across the entry gates, including the Imphal Airport.
Meanwhile, of the 485 passengers who were put under home surveillance, 349 of them have completed the surveillance period without showing signs of the deadly virus.
