Report of Tripura’s first COVID-19 patient found negative in second test

The swab sample of Tripura’s first COVID-19 positive patient tested negative in the second test on Monday.
Confirming the news, the health officials said the test was conducted on Monday and its report came at night. The health officials said, “Another round of test will conducted after some days and in that test if she is found negative, then we will think that she is cured.”
The first COVID-19 positive patient of Tripura, who is a lady, has a travel history to Guwahati and reached Agartala on March 19. On April 7 she tested positive for COVID19 and currently she has been undergoing treatment at the Agartala Medical College Hospital. She is from Udaipura of Gomoti district. The second patient, who tested positive for COVID19 on April 10, is a 32-year-old man from Madhya Pradesh.
The infected man, who has currently been staying at Damcherra in North Tripura district, travelled along with Tripura’s first COVID19 positive case in train.
