Refrain from job cuts, KTR appeals to industry heads

Hyderabad:

Minister for IT & Industries KT Rama Rao asked industries in the State to refrain from sacking employees and consider other methods of cost cutting during the ongoing lockdown period.The Minister on behalf of the government made this appeal in a letter addressing the industry heads on Saturday.

“I appeal to you to ensure that no employee, regular or contractual or outsourced, loses his/her job whatever be the situation, as a company you may consider other forms of cost cutting including pay cuts, deferment of increments, bonuses etc,” he said.
