COVID-19 : Nagaland announces ex-gratia for frontline staff

The Nagaland government on Monday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh to any state government employee, who suffers fatality due to Covid-19 while performing frontline duties. The government employees include personnel of Nagaland police and the urban local bodies. This was notified in a notification by the home department (relief & rehabilitation branch). In another order on Monday, the government directed all the administrative heads of departments, heads of departments and all the heads of offices in the districts to be in their respective headquarters from Tuesday.
