5 more test positive

Meghalaya has registered five more COVID19 positive cases.Confirming the news, Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma in a tweet at 12.17 am on Wednesday said the infected patients were stranded people who recently returned from Delhi and Haryana.
The chief minister informed that all the infected patients are currently in Shillong’s Corona Care Centre.He also said all of the patients are ‘asymptomatic’.
With the news cases, the number of active COVID19 cases in Meghalaya has increased to 7.
“Five more people who came recently from Delhi-Haryana have been tested positive for COVID19. They are at Corona Care Centre, Shillong and asymptomatic. Total active cases in the state as of now is 7 (2+5),” chief minister Sangma tweeted.
