Total positive cases rise to 242

Tripura has registered 10 more COVID19 positive cases taking the state’s total to 242.Confirming the news, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet at 11.07 pm on Wednesday said 1,020 samples were tested on the day for COVID19, out of which 10 were found positive.
Chief minister Deb said while 5 of the infected patients are returnees from Chennai and Bangalore, 4 others are returnees from Mumbai while 1 is a railway pantry staff member.“1020 samples have been tested today for COVID-19, out of which 1??0?? people detected #POSITIVE. 5 returnees from Chennai & Bangalore, 4 returnees from Mumbai & 1 railway pantry staff,” chief minister Deb tweeted.
