Voluntary service of an Arunachal Pradesh school teacher to contain coronavirus transmission is attracting attention of the district administration as well as the frontline workers.The sevices came barely after a week of services offered by local villagers of Debing in Arunachal Pradesh’s East Siang district bordering to Assam.
One John Panyang, a secondary school teacher serving at Ruksin has set up a temporary ‘screening centre’ at Ngorlung-Ralung village entry point along Mirem-Mikong-Jonai PWD road near Assam-Arunachal boundary.He has built the screening centre in a temporary hut using transparent polythene and bamboo and equipped with a thermal screening machine, face-mask, hand glove and alcoholic sanitizer.
