Meghalaya govt launches Chief Minister’s Civil Services Fellows

Creating an opportunity for Meghalaya’s IAS aspirants, State Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Thursday launched Chief Minister’s Civil Services Fellows.
The scholarship worth Rs 1 crore will be offered to 100 youths, who are deserving and talented IAS aspirants of Meghalaya, to undergo free of cost coaching from ALS IAS.
ALS IAS, which is India’s Largest IAS Coaching Network, has more than 75 centres across India including 30 in Northeast along with 2837 selections in UPSC till date including 154 selections last year.
ALS has also been honoured with similar sponsorship for IAS training from the governments of Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Mizoram and Manipur in the past.
The national Sales Head of ALS, Prateek Bhattacharya, also announced scholarship worth Rs 1 crore for 265 aspirants under ALS CSR Initiative for the youth of Meghalaya.
Together this, the announcement has created an opportunity for 365 IAS aspirants of Meghalaya to avail of scholarship sponsored by the government of Meghalaya and ALS.
