Meghalaya CM visits Tura civil hospital, reviews preparedness against COVID-19

Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma on Saturday reviewed the preparedness at Tura, the district headquarters of West Garo Hills, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Meghalaya chief minister visited the isolation centre at Tura and discussed various measures with the officials to ensure that essential commodities are made available to the public.

Sharing a video on his visit to Tura, the chief minister tweeted: “Reviewed the preparedness in Garo Hills at Tura in view of Coronavirus pandemic.”

“Also, visited the isolation centre in Tura and have discussed measures with officials to ensure that essential commodities are made available to the public,” he added.
