Ex-BSF personnel Assam’s first COVID-19 death victim
COVID-19 took its first toll in Assam early Friday morning. The 28th patient of the State suffering from deadly coronavirus passed away at around 2 am in the wee hours of Friday.The resident from Hailakandi breathed his last at the Silchar Medical College and Hospital due to COVID-19 complications.State health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter to announce the demise of the COVID-19 patient, the first casualty in the State.
