Mizoram to re-open schools on July 15

The Mizoram government on Wednesday decided to open schools for the new academic session 2020-21 on July 15, an official said.

The meeting of school education department, Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE), State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Independent School Owner Association, Central Young Mizo Association, student bodies and other stakeholders held under the leadership of education minister Lalchhandama Ralte on Wednesday unanimously agreed to open educational institutions under MBSE on July 15 and also open admission for class-XI students on June 22, the official said.
