Conrad takes stock of COVID-19 situation with DCs

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Friday took stock of the prevailing COVID-19 situation and discussed the health challenges being faced globally with deputy commissioners of all the districts. “Held video conference with DCs across the State with regards to the prevailing #health challenge faced globally,” Conrad said.
Stating that health infrastructure should be strengthened, the chief minister said, “Our focus will remain towards building necessary infrastructure including better facilities for the medical staff.”Meghalaya recorded a total of 44 positive COVID-19 cases, out of which, the number of patients who have recovered has gone up to 18 from 13 after five patients have recovered on Thursday.
