Pregnant lady tests COVID-19 positive in Meghalaya
A pregnant woman, whose husband is a COVID-19 patient, has also tested positive for coronavirus at NEIGRIHMS in Meghalaya on Wednesday. Her husband had tested positive a few days ago is being treated at Corona hospital (Shillong Civil Hospital).
“The lady came from Delhi last week together with her husband,” Meghalaya health minister, A L Hek said on Wednesday.He said that the lady was admitted in NEIGRIHMS for delivery, and the labour ward of the hospital was sealed. Asked if she has to be shifted, Hek said health officials and medical staff are taking steps what required to be done.With this latest case, Meghalaya now has 30 active positive cases, 13 recovered and one deceased.
