Chandrayaan-2 ambitious mission of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will be launching Chandrayaan-2 on 2:43 pm today.
ISRO president K. Sivan said that all the preparations for the launch have been completed. Earlier, on 15th July, Chandrayaan-2 was about to fly GSLV-MK-3 and to 2:51 PM. But due to technical breakdown the flight was secured one hour before the launch of the parking lot. But the technical breakdown in GSLV Mk-3 has been corrected. Mission Chandrayaan-2 will now be launched on 22nd July at 2.43 pm
The 640 tonne weighted GSLV-MK-3 has been surnamed Bahubali’s nickname of Bahubali film’s hero. The way the protagonist of the film raises the heavy Shivling in one scene, the film will be about 3.8 tonne Chandrayaan-2. The cost of GSLV Mk-3 is Rs 375 crores. At the same time, the cost of Chandrayaan-2 is 603 crores. It will mark its 170×40400 km orbit during Chandrayaan-2 during a flight of about 16 minutes.
ISRO said that GSLV Mk-3 graphics used for the launch of small satellites have been used 13 times since April 2001. Among them, GSAT-4, 3-GSAT-5P and INSAT-4C were launched, while communication satellite GSAT-6A, GSAT-7A and GSAT-9 besides INSAT-3D, INSAT-4CR, GSAT-6 And the launch of Edusat, GSAT-2, GSAT-3, GSAT-19 has been successful.
